They observe it with inexorable commitment and worship to the deities. As a result the temple affairs are managed and monitored by a trust formulated for the purpose, which includes only members of the sacred family. The main reason for the prosperity and the unbroken visits of pilgrims, which are on the rise day by day and minute by minute, is the fact that irrespective of the rising expenses for the traditional offering of worship, the members of the family are attending to them without the slight change and with complete and sincere co-operation. Mannarasala upper primary school The temple trust is very strict to follow the pooja pattern and administrative affairs of the temple, in accordance to the ancient documents and instructions by the Valia Ammas from time to time. Though it is not advised to alter the sanctum sanctorum, in order to help the millions of devotees who wish to have a darshan of the Lord and to offer worships, various infrastructure with modern day amenities have been built around the temple. The temple trust also runs an upper primary school, renowned for many decads, to spread the light of knowledge among the rural community in and around the Mannarassala village. Currently, Sri.M.V.Subramanian Namboothiri is the President of the Mannarassala temple trust, and the other trustees are Sri.M.N.Narayanan Namboothiri, Sri.M.K.Parameswaran Namboothiri and Sri. M.G.Vasudevan Namboothiri.
